Were you registered with MSE before you took up the insurance, also I think that if you pay by instalments (for example) that your first months premium usually has to be taken - even though you've usually paid the first payment this is usually treated as a deposit, you get the cashback after this.
It's done this way so that you can't pay the deposit get your cashback and then cancel - I think? I may be wrong.
Guess you could have a look at the t&c's on the cashback site just to confirm if that's the way it works.0 -
sprob - thanks.
No wasn't registered before I bought the insurance and I paid annual premium in a oner.
Stupid question coming up now ! Hve you got a link to t&c's cashback site ?
Apologies for not knowing my way round here yet.0 -
I think you will find that because you weren't registered first with MSE you will not get your cashback .
You have to use the link from the MSE website to access the Esure or was it a price comparison site link within MSE that u used.
You would also (I think) have to register with the cashback site as well to get the cashback.
There are quite a few cashback sites, so I am sorry I can't give you a link to a site, this is probably irrelevant anyway if you weren't registered with MSE or with the cashback site.
Sorry if that's not what you want to hear, but I think that's the way it works.0 -
sprob.
Thanks for info. guess I'll just have to put it down to experience.
Will learn for next year though !!!!
