Cash in bank account - how safe?

Someone has bought something from me & has said they will put the cash into my account, like a bank transfer but will do in the branch so it clears instantly.
It is being sent Special Delivery so would it be ok to post to a work's address?

It is apparantly possible that other forms of payment may show up as 'cash'.

Wire transfer is definately safe for sellers. Just check and confirm money is in your account before shipping out the merchandise.0
