Cohabit - what does it mean?

I have had a deed of separation drawn up, in which it says my ex is entitled to his share of the equity in the house if i remarry, die, daughter reaches 18 etc etc. It doesn't say anything about cohabiting but i am prepared to put that in.
The trouble is we are disagreeing on what the term cohabit means. I think it means when someone makes this their permanent address, but am prepared to accept when someone stays 4 nights or more per week, however ex says that council tenancy says 3 nights a week and he wants it drawn up like that.

To me, cohabiting means permanent address, not just a few nights a week. The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.0

Its really for you to agree between yourselves what you mean and incorporate that, but normally the intention is that someone actually moving in with you is cohabiting and that would apply, even if they maintained an address elsewhere at the same time.0

for council tax reason its spending m3 nights or more a week at the address. If it doesnt pay rent sell it.
