Barclaycard Platinum

I want to apply for this card but I have heard that Barclaycards are a) difficult to get and b) generally they give low credit limits. Has this been anyones experience. I am looking to exploit there 12 month 0% offer. So far I have applied for and been accepted by Egg (£3,500) and waiting for approval from MBNA (£4,000) after sending off bank statements.

There are already 3 credit searches on my experian file so I'm applying to Barclaycard after reading on here they generally credit search equifax. Again can anyone confirm this if this is there experience?

Yes they do search Equifax.
