Louis Vuitton wallet

I have a Louis Vuitton mans wallet that I want to put up on Ebay. I was told when it was given to me that it was genuine, but there is no packaging etc. It is a brown monogram type , 7"x 3 1/2". It has the black embossed Louis Vuitton Paris made in France with r in a circle. Have looked on Ebay but cant find anything the same. Is there anyway that I can check that it is indeed real and not a fake ?

I think it is rather easy to differentiate between genuine and fake LV. The texture of the leather is different.

Not really. There are many grades of fake LV goods and the really top grade one are almost impossible to tell apart even for experts.

Well, according to the info in the links above there are at least 3 LV factories.

    USA, France, Spain.

Thank you all for your comments. I am still non the wiser really. Without having 'the real thing' to compare it to, its difficult. I am leaning towards thinking that its a good fake as even though the quality seems good, there are a couple of places where its 'a bit rough' shall we say. So think I will save it for the next Boot Fair.
