Cop out reply from LG..

I complained to Lg a few weeks ago about the lack of responce from them when awaiting the decision on our 2nd fridge and got a reply back saying sorry but basically we got a replacement offered and that was it. I replied saying i should hope i would but waiting almost 3 months for a reply about a decision was not good enough considering the money we had spent and they should poss look into better comunication (all politely put btw!)
I have recieved yet another letter today saying practiaclly the same but the bits above highlighted..cheeky so and so's!!

So do i carry it on and push (doubt ill get anywhere) or just write back saying they have lost our future business?..(like they care but will make me feel better!)

Are Lg generally this to the point with no apology? Thanks

  • Who did you purchase the item from?

    I'm assuming an LG item purchased was faulty, and you've been waiting for LG to 'OK' a replacement?

    Any claim under the sale of goods act much be made to the seller. Unless you bought the item from LG, then you may not have any contract with them.

    If you've been without it for 3 months whilst under warranty then I would put in any claim to who you purchased the item from. If you have not been pursuing this with the seller to chase then you may find it hard to start a claim now.

    Really need a little more info to go on.

    Hi sory assumed ppl had read my ongoing boring posts on here between currys and LG!

    Basically to cut it short..bought a fridge freezer off Currys (LG make!)..it arrived and had a prob we contacted currys, LG, currys, LG eventually they came out and repaired..it then took from August till not so long ago to get a responce from them as to why it took so long to let us have a replacement. The nest one arrived and was all bashed up..from LG apparantly so i am cross someone allowed such a product to come out to a customer.
    The responce of 'oh well youv'e got another coming' type thing is not on..we spent a LOT of money on this and STILL havent got one!
    Complained to Currys too who give them thier due have responded eventually and come up trumps BUT i am now boycotting them both and buying future products from anywhere but Currys and LG!! Doubt they care but hey.
