Bloody Westcot!

Options
I'm not a debt free wannabe or bankrupt so thought I'd stick this in here;)

Got a call this morning from Westcot finance. Have dealt with them many, many moons ago as they were trying to chase a non-existent debt and I had to do all the letters asking for credit file etc etc and thought they were finally out of my hair.!

Then I get the phone call and they have the cheek to ask for my details - confirm date of birth and address etc! I'm not giving that out over the phone to a company that I've had nothing but bad dealings with before. Apparently they've sent out loads of letters to me already but they can't confirm what it's about unless I give them my address!!! Well I haven't had one letter and a quick check of my credit report reveals; surprise, surprise - not one outstanding debt - anywhere!!!!

Aargh - wasted a whole ½ hour of my life that I'll never get back, on the phone and checking credit reports!!!:mad:

    Do we mean Wescot? ;)

If so, I have sympathy. They chased me for a non existent debt for several months. My feelings towards them are not printable on a family forum!
    Gone ... or have I?
