Help pls-Problem accessing certain URLs

I can't access certain web-sites (2 so far-who knows if any more!) through my usual ISP (tesco.net; daytime access with monthly subscription)
However by using alternative ISPs on PAYG there's not a problem. (other than having to pay again!)
I've deleted cookies/temp files; I've checked security settings in internet options; I've done a virus check & run maintenance wizard - all to no avail.
Can anyone throw any light on this, & hopefully suggest a remedy? If the only remedy is change ISP, is there another with 7 day-a-week Daytime access for £5.99 or less?
Very many thanks for any help.

can be any number of issues, most usually this happens when there has been a change in IP address and it hasn't propergated to the DNS server you use, faultly router can also cause this.
REPORT it to tesco
I have to say I have just found (I have tesco BB) that I am behind a proxy and as a result cannot access certain secure places that check my IP as the IP they see is different to my one but don't think this is your problemvBulletin getting better!0 -
Have you tried contacting the technical team at your present ISP. I'm sure they could do something if they were aware of the problem.

Thanks very much for the prompt replies; I have contact the tesco tech team in the past (had 1 problem site then, now got 2!) & got this reply. I did what they said & lost ALL access! I spoke to them as well but no solution, & calling them is SO expensive that I'd rather just change provider if I could find a coparable cost one.
Thank you for your Email.
