Acer T130 AMD 64 PC System £350 or less @Staples

Options
Hurry not many left!!

I have just bought a new PC system at Staples at its pretty good value...i should know as i build/fix PC's

Its currently selling for 350.00 and is currently on the acer website for 551.00 (but with a smaller hard drive!)

even better for me was that mine was a display model, so they knocked 10% off and i had a £5 voucher if I sepnt over £30...so it cost me £310!!!!! The processor alone is £140 ish....

You cannot build this system for this price, though you would undoubtedly end up with a better motherboard

Im not normally keenj on prebuilt stuff but this is excellent value...this will do for a year or two then ill build a new one

Spec is
AMD 64 3200+
200 Hard disk 7200 speed
Geforce F5500 128mb graphics (seperate card, no shared memory rubbish)
512mb ram (533mhz i think)
load of ports inc. 6 usb ports, 1 firewire port
mouse (witha ball in it!??)
keyboard
crap speakers
windows xp home preinstalled (yuck)
ethernet (seperate card)
dvd rom drive
floppy drive
dvd writer drive
some software

No monitor.....but plenty of 17 inch tft's can be had for under 150.00....460.00 for a decentish spec pc that pcworld would charge you almost double for.

see here for spec but whilst this is more exp...you get a smaller hard drive!

if you want a bargain check out the back of pcworlds they usually have some returned stock sold as seen picked up an Advent T9300 for £440! Absolute bargain and comes with 12months on-site cover ;D

was the enfield branch they had a few others for 500 - this one was cheaper since one of the hard drives "didnt work" - idiots - the jumpers were just the wrong way round, works perfectly!
