Hello can I join please?!
I've never joined in before as I didnt really understand (i know now, simples!) so on my first month I'm going to go for 10 days!
This will be HARD as I start a new job in London on the 7th December, but I'm paying for my travel card upfront, and will take my lunch everydau - so who know I could surprise myself.
Have to do all the Christmas shopping, gifts & food yet though, but will get lots of that out of the way early on.
If I get all the money out I need to spend over a few days, is that cheating?!Debt Free Target: December 2011
:T I did it in November 2011!! :T0 -
I'd like to try this one for the first time too, now is as good a time as any and if i can do it this month, then i can do it any month (well thats the theory)
I'd like to go for 10 in December please.
Good luck to everyone.

BMF, I'm going to try for this...
I've not finished my xmas shopping, but I'm going to aim low & go for 8, please. I'll be at work for 13 days in December, and I think I can do 8 NSDs out of 13. It's a start isn't it!!
I have a question... if your partners spend money, but you don't, do you still count it as a NSD?
Thanks!!Trying hard to money save....0 -

i did notice though i'm not on your list in the first post. am i not allowed to join in this month?I'd had a few gremlins while trying to update The List during last month so it isn't intentional

Could I lower my target to 10 NSD's please BigMumma?
Haven't been hitting my target of 15 and, although I've pretty much finished the xmas shopping, think maybe a new lower target that I *may* actually achieve might inspire my motivation again!
Thanks for the new thread

I just wanted to say to everyone that it is YOUR Challenge, YOUR Rules & YOU decide what is or is not included. On an almost identical thought-trail I posted this on the November thread today & hope it helps with your query too thisisms
I wish I could take credit for instigating this marvellous thread wynn but sadly no. I've just taken up the mantle to help do my bit toward money-saving & when you think about it, it's Thanks to all of yooze guys in making it the success it deserves to be :T

Hi BMF,
Thanks for doing the thread again in December! I'm not going to meet my November target of 14, mainly due to bad planning, but I think I will match my October total of 12...will update on the November thread when I can.
As for December, well I've got no presents, cards or decorations yet and I'm planning 2 weekends away and I need some new work clothes before I start my new job. It is all budgeted for but think I am going to struggle on the NSD front. So for this month my target will be 10, and anything else will be a bonus.
Good luck everyone xxLBM 17th August 2009 Debt at LBM £18,612 Proud to be dealing with my debts.0 -
Hiya - this'll be my first attempt but sounds a really good idea!
I'm going to start small as it's my first time and opt for 7 no spend days during December. I reckon I should be able to manage that. (Presumably they don't have to be consecutive right?) if it works I pledge to up that by at least one for January!0 -
May I join please?
Not done it before, so will go with 10 days to start with. Should be able to do more, but want to set a realistic target to begin with!!0 -
