I need a new house phone

I'm fed up paying for my children phoning mobile phones off the landline. Last month for example I was charged over £9 for mobile calls and 52 of those calls were under 4 seconds:mad:. I've told them to stop using the phone but it falls on deaf ears:mad: and they do it when I'm either not looking or not there. So I've decided to take matters into my own hands and want to replace my existing phone with one that allows you to block calls to certain numbers. I owned one a few years ago but can't seem to find one now. Can any one help me find one with this feature please. I'd much rather it was DECT and maybe had hands free capability. Thanks in advance.

A Commtel Phone Guard is what you really need but they are in short supply now and so the price has increased.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
