    Hi

I have recently been looking into getting a new digital camera and have done a lot of investigation into it. I've been to several independant photography shops to ask for advice and each time i have been recommended the Canon Ixus 60 and the Canon Ixus 65 (the two models are exactly the same, but the Ixus 65 - has a larger screen than the 60, but has no viewfinder).
In my opinion, the 60 is better as whilst the bigger screen is great, the viewfinder allows u to take pictures when the screen isnt really viewable on a sunny day - and also, means u can turn the display screen off to save battery power.

I have in fact recently ordered one of these for around 170 - so this is a bargain price at jessops.

    Did anyone order this?

Status seams to suggest they have run out as its on back order. Also cant find it on the site anymore. Will be well annoyed if its delayed.

Anyone else's say anything different or anyone received theres yet? It does say delivery tuesday on their site if you ordered at the right time!

Hate it when shops state "usually dispatched in 24 hours" then let you down. Hopefully one day they'll realise the damage they do to themselves.

I got the same email - Jessops obviously don't know how to deal with popular bargain offerings. The camera shouldn't be out of stock in the first place, a large operation like Jessops has a HUGE stock inventory and can re-order items quickly from suppliers, it's not like there's a shortage of these.

So they say it's currently out of stock, and then in the next sentence they say it's discontinued. Well the camera is most certainly not discontinued but perhaps they were referring to the offer being discontinued?

And the 4 weeks thing, are they just hoping people will forget after 4 weeks? LOL. It seems like they will cancel orders after 4 weeks if they are unable to get stock. It doesn't take that long to obtain stock - I'm sure they have plenty of these in stores and warehouses.

I think Jessops are trying to get out of this - and are going about it in totally the wrong way. If they don't want to supply the things they should cancel immediately and not make us wait for the inevitable cancellation.

They sneakily removed the camera from the site before the coupon deadline as well.

    Let's see what happens...
