Fee-free 0% transfers

Does anyone know of any credit card companies that don't charge a fee on 0% balance transfer offers?

    In a word, no.

All lenders now charge new customers balance transfer fees (a trend started by MBNA), though some (eg. Mint, Virgin) may waive the fee for existing customers if you're prepared to negotiate over the phone ;)

For a 0% BT, lowest BT fee at the mo is 1.5% of the sum shifted. This card offers 0% for just 6 months though.

    Mortgage-free Glee!
No, as Moggles suggests. Last one I caught was Virgin Money (MBNA) purely by luck. I'm planning to keep my credit record as clean and simple as possible so that I can jump at the next one.
  • Don't know if this is worth a shot - Tesco charge a 2% fee for online applications BUT I have come across a cardholder who as a fee free transfer. If you shop in Tesco and you see a salesperson signing people up for the CC ask if they do fee free BTs! Tesco do have different deals depending on how you apply
