I would also write to the fines department of the court and make an offer of repayment. Inform them that you do not have the funds that the bailiff is demanding in full and that they will not allow you to pay in installments.
Possibly also worth giving them a copy of your SOA as well so they can see what your available income is.After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
Dad Gift 6k ¦ Savings & Inv Tst: £2,500
Loan 10k: £0 ¦ Dad 5.5k: £2,270 ¦ LTSB: £0 ¦ RBS: £0 ¦ Virgin £0 ¦ Egg £0
Total Owed: £2,270 (+6k) 11/08/20110 -

fill it in, go to a solicitors and get it witnessed(costs £5), give it to the bailiffs and they will go away, your property can be signed into anyone elses name provided they have not entered your property and listed goods for removal, the csa made up a £20,000 debt they were persuing me for using marstons bailiffs after getting an unlawfull liability order ganted, after reciept of the above letter by marstons i have heard no nore from the csa, bailiffs or court, must be 4 or 5 months now, we did it in my wife's name and just altered it to say that ALL of the property at the listed address was her sole property, you can give away unlisted goods lawfully to whoever you want whenever you want( it is your lawfull right to do so), a sworn and witnessed affadavit is law and cannot be subverted, remember it is your lawfull right to take this action, marstons know it-and now so do you!!, if they turn up and try to get round it phone your local police station and state quite clearly on the phone "Robbery in progress, suspects on premises" and get them nicked, pm me if i can be of any further use as i dont visit this forum too regularly, nobody should have to put up with feeling threatened in there own home by anyone, ever, have a peacefull weekend0 -
Statutory Decleration for everything they might possibly take is damn good idea as Kaya suggests.
If you have a car, include that.
HOWEVER. You MUST be sure that you can ABSOLUTELY trust the friend or relative whose name goes on the form, as you've just signed a legally binding document that says all your goods are theirs. If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0 -

OK.
Can I just double-check?
Have you or have you not received a levy? (a list of your goods written down with a note saying the listed goods will be removed for the debt). Have they ever been in your house? If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0 -
