Ryanair - advice please!

I booked with Ryanair last month to travel to Tenerife next Thursday 3rd December. I did my online check in tonight but had a huge problem.
The Ryanair site was running slowly and taking ages to load each section. I input all the details and pressed check in.
I then got a warning message saying I needed to specify what kind of travel document I'd be using. There'd been a heading saying travel document information, but no drop down box to put this into.
The website then froze up totally and I couldn't do anything at all with it. I had to turn the computer off and restart it.
I tried to go back to the check in process, but the word "closed" came up alongside "Check in". There was now a drop down box for my passport number, expiry date and nationality so I filled in the details.
I printed off the boarding pass, which was blank alongside these fields.
So total !!!! up there. I'll ring their customer services tomorrow, but has this happened to anyone else? If so, what will Ryanair do about it?
Please tell me they won't cancel my entire booking!!

Don't worry - Ryanair will sort it for you. They're a very good airline at sorting this kind of problem out - far better than most! From Poland...with love.
They are (they're) sitting on the floor.
Their books are lying on the floor.
The books are sitting just there on the floor.0 -
Just log back in tomorrow to sort it.
It'll be fine.
As PolishBigSpender said they're better than most!0 -
THanks mobby and Polish big spender. I rang Ryanair today and they were brilliant...despite the bad press they get.
They apologised for the freezing up of the screen, said it's quite common. Just took my passport details, told me to go back to their website and do the check in again.
The details were now visible on screen, and I could print out the boarding passes with no further hassle.
Big thumbs up for Ryanair.0 -
It's sad that people such as Martin Lewis don't actually highlight fantastic customer care like this - in fact, the charter airlines seem to be the real bad guys when it comes to being horribly inflexible and demanding money for something that's actually completely outside of your control. From Poland...with love.

It's good to give credit where it's due though, isn't it? Ryanair have been absolutely fine so far.0

Come on, lets have specifics. As per usual, spouting off with no regard to the facts. How's dad these days:rotfl:PolishBigSpender wrote: »- in fact, the charter airlines seem to be the real bad guys when it comes to being horribly inflexible and demanding money for something that's actually completely outside of your control. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0
