Firstly I just wanted to say what a massive blow today was and so gutted that the banks have won - for now!
My heart really goes out to everyone thats been on this site, fighting regularly with the banks.
I am still cahsing Yorkshire Bank for PPI reclaim and this has now gone to FOS. Would today still affect my claim?
I called the bank to find out what is taking so long as its been since Sep2nd that I first wrote to them. They said it ca take up to 12 weeks for someone to look at my claim and then your contacted via phoneto discuss this? Is this the normal process?

Hi estimator - Todays ruling was solely about reclaiming bank charges & nothing to do with PPi. If your claim is now with FOS for PPi you should be phoning them for updates now & not the bank.I have seen some people posting to say FOS is traking about 12months to 18months at the moment0
