I am signing for a new (well 2nd hand) corolla silver tommorow.

I have been offered half price supergarding by the dealer at £100. Car is one year old silver.

DAK think its worth paying for? Is it worth it?
Or is there some wax i can buy and spray that i can do it myself for a fraction of the price?

At £100 it's not too badly priced - often dealers will try to sell it for more like £400, if you can never bothered to wash and polish the car it's not a bad idea and if you have kids the interior stuff will be useful.

I'd still try to push for him to drop the price a bit more or be totally cheeky and ask for him to throw it in free.

As Blue says, it's not dear - but sometimes these 'systems' aren't worth the bother & SOMETIMES make more of a mess of the paintwork if not applied correctly.

I'd invest the £$£$ in quality wax from https://www.meguiars.co.uk you'll find some good hints on preparing the car & keeping it looking new, on there.

No need to buy on line, it's in most Halfords now, or if you can find a local independent car parts place, they'll maybe haggle, 'cos it IS a premium priced product - but well worth it!

thanks price is fixed at £100. Already done the deal to buy the car. But i have option over next day or so to add this on.
My dad has had his car in the past done but he did not think it made much difference.
Any further views welcome? is it worth the £100 for what benefit?

Having worked in the motortrade for the past 8yrs I can vouch for Supagard. I've applied it to every car I've had (there have been loads!) and it does work!...if your like me and religiously clean/polish your car then you won't notice much difference having the paint sealant applied but the interior protection definately works!..£100 isn't a bad price, although I've always bought mine from eBay for less than £10:rolleyes: and applied it myself (not recommended if your not experienced)
New car (not even 2months old) up for sale:-

    Ford Focus Sport 1.8TDCi 5dr '06' plate
    Sea Grey
    2600miles
    P.M for more details

    Hi
I have ordered my car but not requested the supergard.

Interested if you can give me the name to search for on ebay. Why you recommend not to apply oneself?

yeah, no worries, just put 'supagard' in the search box and you should find loads for sale.

the interior spray is easy, make sure the carpets & seats are totally spotlessly clean (no probs if its a new car) and spray away!...leave to dry overnight and job done.

exterior paint sealant needs the instructions following to the letter, like any car cleaning definately don't apply if the suns out!

    happy supagarding!
