The payment has just come out her account to a site called ollsteel.com - which seems to seel door handles etc.

Any ideas what she should do etc? This will break her (and his) heart.

If she paid by credit card and the payment is over £100 she may be covered by section 75 of the consumer credit act. Some debit cards offer this protection too - best check with your card provider.

She may get her delivery, unfortunately it will be fake.

The site states this in their FAQ's
Our products are AAA quality mirror images to authentic products.

Over a ton and debit card...have to wait and see if those fakes arrive.
  • I consider myself as quite savvy.... Obviously not. Have just been conned out of £135. Bought 3 items from website and then redirected to a co called 'Realypay'. Billed for £125 via visa debit card. Not received goods. Raised a ticket. Reply was very suspicious. Checked with bank. A co called 'forward thinking' took £135. The difference is the exchange rate. Not sure if I'll get money back. Feel very silly though.

Be very careful. They use up-to-date website, current models and advertising. Dud not look suspicious at all. They did a good job!!

Well she just rang me to say the stuff has arrived.

She was in a rush so other than being able to say they arent falling apart she said the quality was ok.

Now i know these will be fakes and im suprised we got anything but you know what as long as they arent terrible he wont mind too much.

Lesson learned for both of us, her on internet shopping and me saying "yes dear have my visa debit". BTW the only reason for that was they didnt take her Solo or Mastercard

Hi everyone. I came across this website (UK)

    abercrombie-shop.uk.com

I believed it was real, the hoodies are in the sale at £39.90.... reduced from £65

I was going to buy 3 and proceeded to the checkout, but it asked me to pay by western union and gave the following details for me to use:

    First Name : GUIFANG
    Last Name : PENG
Address : HONG DE ROAD, GUANGZHOU CITY, GUANGDONG PROVINCE, CHINA
    Contact No. : 0086-136-822-99842

I find this odd that you would pay this way... now I'm thinking it's fake??

I went on their FAQ's and it says

Q1: How come your prices are so low ?
A1: We are a 'Direct Factory Outlet' and all of our merchandises are sourced from specialized factories experienced in the production of top quality Brand items. There is no handling fee.

Does anyone know if this is a fake site?

    Thanks a lot :)

What do you think? The best that can happen is that you get a fake hoody, the worst that your card details are compromised. Buy direct from the US kosher site.

Of course it's a fake site. You've pretty much listed all the reasons not to buy from them.
