Fact sheet: http://www.dbxtrackers.co.uk/pdf/EN/factsheet/factsheetLU0328476410_2009_11.pdf
Ok this invests mainly in the "larger" of the Frontier markets.
21.95% Kuwait
17.42% Colombia
10.52% Nigeria
10.11% Kazakhstan
8.21% Jordan
8.14% Cyprus
7.40% United Arab Emirates
3.39% Pakistan
3.22% Slovenia
9.64% Other
The Advance fund seems to be more scattered around the very small ones. Plus this ETF is investing directly in shares whereas the fund is investing in other funds mostly.0 -
Top ten holdings are:
Sarasin Intl Fds GCC Equity Opp (USD) - A 7.51%
Citigroup Gl Mks Inc MSCI Peru 02.09.10 5.44%
ABN Amro Bank NV 18.08.10 5.41%
Barclays Bank TALLIN STK EXCH 27.08.10 5.26%
Deutsche Bk AG London Call 27.08.19 5.07%
Deutsche Bk AG London Call USD 14.08.10 5.05%
Mango Capital Fund USD 5.04%
Barclays Bank ROM. TRADED IDX 27.08.10 4.85%
Citigroup Gl Mks Hgs MSCI 05.09.12 3.44%
HSBC Bank Cer HSBC SAUDI Eq Idx Fd 21.11.11 3.32%
Just a guess, but it looks like those are single-country index trackers that it's investing in. So it has 5.44% in a Peru share index, which looks about the same as the factsheet says the fund has in Peru. So in effect it's a managed fund of trackers.
(Not that that's a bad thing - it'd be expensive to buy those trackers direct. Though a 2.75% AMC ain't cheap)0 -
A succinct argument for future potential I think
