By the way I should probably add that the phone conversation amounted to nothing more than 'you took it to a garage, so you get FA from us', so I'm not sure how that would stand up in court when there's been nothing further to accompany it.

If your friends are unable to make a recommendation, you would need to find information elsewhere. The local business bureau is an excellent source of information for local business which includes Mobile locksmiths. Check out the information through websites or you can give them a call.
