Warning - Safield & Twilight Turtle

Just had a bad experience with Safield Distribution. With Christmas coming up I was looking to get my little boy a Twilight Turtle, which displays constellations on the ceiling.
Trying to be smart about it and shop around for the best price (it retails at £29.95 at Firebox), I found Safield Distributions selling it for £14.99 Bargin!!

So I put in an order and got happy about the thought of my son opening it on Christmas Day.

The item arrived yesterday and it was NOT Twilight Turtle. It was a copy called Goodnight Friends, that arrived in a battered packaging with a twist tie missing so it was nearly loose. The items was very poor and the shell scratched.

I felt totally ripped off that I had not been sent the item I ordered. I am refusing to accept this copy. I am sooo angry that they are selling this as the proper the item and not the Goodnight Friends copy.

I have written to them and received a stock reponse about sending this item back in re-sellable condition for a refund of the item only. I am not accepting this either.

Thankfully I paid by Paypal so I have raise a dispute as well as putting in a formal request for a full refund under the Consumer Protection Regulations. I have also informed Cloud B who make the real Twilight Turtle.

I am waiting to hear back from Safield about the refund.

So beware if buying a 'cheap' Twilight Turtle.

its the cloud b ones that are genuine i think, I just bought one off amazon, £27 though. there were loads on ebay, i messaged five sellers asking if there's was made by cloud b and surprise not one replied!

I only spent out as Ive seen the difference in quality between the cloud b ones and the copies.

they're selling like hot cakes everywhere!
