    Hi there

They have 8 weeks in full to respond, then if you still hear nothing, move on to the financial ombudsman service.
Good luck, hope you hear soon with a positive result.
Did you post by recorded delivery?
If not then ring them to ask if they have received your letter, if not then send it off again and post it by recorded delivery, this is your proof of posting.

    Hi Dave,

They are given you the chance to write back to them with further information before you take it to the FOS.
So write to them and tell them you do not agree with their decision of them not upholding your complaint and tell them you would like them to reconsider, if you can think of anything else to add as well to help with the case then write that as well.
Tell them you have been deprived of your money, and the policy is worthless to you, and been out of pocket, also tell them to refer to your first letter as well.
Good luck and keep at them, you will get there.

    Hi there
And yes I would, ask if they can send them to you by post by 7 -14 days, ask them for the copy of the recordings and written transcripts, they may actually suggest that you will have to send a SAR, but not aways, if they do there is a template letter here below link, where then they must send everything they still hold on you, but there is a charge of £10 postal order or cheque payment for this, they have 40 days max to comply, if this is the case of a SAR then post by recorded delivery to ensure your request have reached them.

Hopefully though they will send you these free though, fingers crossed.;)
