try https://www.dmxdimension.co.uk for all the latest Dell deals.

Or if you know what spec you might want check https://www.dell.co.uk/outlet, though that can be a bit pot luck and worth checking regularly.

Dell usually advertise their latest 'specials' in papers like 'The Sun' on a thursday.

Also just keep an eye out here, there are usually some decent non dell offers around, but you do have to be quick.

good luck

I'll move this thread over to the 'Techie Stuff' board, where it should get more views and responses.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

I would also suggest surveying the eBay laptops market for a couple of weeks. Compare the prices for a while then purchase when you are confident that you're getting a deal.

I was looking at ebay my self and found some good ones going. find spec you want and then watch them dont start bidding at first go there will be more. Then set you limit before you start.

Yeah i agree with the other comments, think about what you're going to do with your laptop and build up an idea of the specs you want, if you want simple word processing and internet access you could get a pretty nice one for as little as £200 on eBay. However, if buying off ebay i wouldnt buy one unless it came with warranty.
I'm better off without you.
