4 out of 5 people pay no charges on their account - why would they want to march to protest about others getting charged for their unauthorised borrowing?

As a financial expert said yesterday, this ruling is actually GOOD news for the majority - the banks had no intention of losing money with this, and would have started charging us all for everyday transactions and cash machines.

I've actually never had an issue with my bank (NatWest) - I pay nothing for my account, they have always given me good service and they use an English call centre.:T

They are not a charity and I don't expect them to behave like one.

    Lin :)

i take it your another person happy with the ruling, your entitled to be happy, however, you are happy that your bank will now screw you to the floor, what they say now goes, one day they may bite you.

your happy to live under the rule of corruption ..... be my guest, ill be busy that day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another "no thanks" here, I'm afraid - but it's nothing to do with being happy to bend over and take it.

I'm just not down with making an idiot of myself marching with a crowd of fools, all gob and no brains, under a "BAN BANK CHAGRES"[sic] or other semi-literate banner.

Clear as mud, what were you charged £4000 for exactly?

Yet no money went out... The banks don't pay your DD if it bounces do they so how have the people stole money from them exactly?

Head out of @rse please. Stop being so high and mightly over it all. If you ever run into debt, you would be s**t on the same as us poor people have.

It's blatant profiteering of the poor to fund the rich.

If a roofer charged £700 for a £100 job, you would brand him a cowboy. How exactly is this any different from the banks?

Oh this is fun. Between last night and today I must have pointed these simple facts out hundreds of times!!! I'm getting bored of repeating myself!

(This thread is top on google if you type in the profiteering part!)

How would you define the job you paid £700.00 for was only worth £100.00?

Exactly. In addition if you signed a contract with said roofer for £700, he maybe a cowboy but what does that make you? Silver!?
