How will the bank ruling affect credit card charges??

I know its a different matter and credit cards were not involved but how will this affect the bank's stance on credit card reclaims..
Will they be more up for a fight now in court and use this ruling as a defence. Something on the lines off well the banks charges are fair and we process credit card charges in the same way, so they must be fair.
Anyone views?
