This is the paperwork from the bank or building society.
Also can I scan in and throw original papers away to save me some space?
Thanks to anyone who can help.

The Inland Revenue says for individuals keep anything you need for tax returns for 22 months after the end of the tax year they relate to (from the sell date not buy date for assets such as houses, shares etc):

For the self employed it is 5 years and 10 months after the end of the tax year

Personally I keep everything for 7 years to be safe.
It may also be worth keeping anything about opening accounts you are still using in case there is any dispute about the terms & interest rate promised.0
