    I dont see the necessity for that comment. :confused: Child maintenance is paid for the upkeep of the child and is excluded from any bankruptcy proceedings therefore the OP has a right to that money to help bring her child up.

    The CSA assessment was made and the NRP has refused to pay for his child, under bankruptcy law then there is an obligation on both the person going bankrupt and the official reciever to reclaim the money owed to them wherever possible. The OP is doing this.
