Hey guys,
Just wanted some advice. I'd originally intended to buy the NC10 for my OH for christmas but it is currently out of stock, grrr. Now, I could wait for it to come back into stock but I've got several voucher/cashback options that I could use right now on the N130 that will allow me to get this for £183.19
So, Is the N130 alot worse than the NC10? Should I wait for the NC10 to return to stock and forget about the money-saving? Or does the money-saved outweigh the advantages of the NC10?
Cheers,
Aron

N140 is ok/better than NC10, my brother has a 140.0 -
It does appear that the N130 is slightly less favoured than the other samsung models, but for £183.19 I think I may go for it. Atleast this way it allows for a few other presents for my OH alongside the biggie. Difficult decision though...Comping since oct 09' === October wins : Vodkat Cocktail Kit, £50 bonkers!, Peroni Bottle Opener x 2, Brit Chicks Merchandise

Still deliberating about this - aaah! I'm quite happy with the N130 spec from comet but one thing is worrying me and that is lack of built-in bluetooth. Does this mean it cannot access the internet without a dongle? Sorry for being so silly, I'm just not used to this stuff.Comping since oct 09' === October wins : Vodkat Cocktail Kit, £50 bonkers!, Peroni Bottle Opener x 2, Brit Chicks Merchandise

I'm not 100% sure what you meant there. You obviously wouldn't be able to tether a mobile phone to it via BT but there is still WiFi or ethernet available to connect to a home router.0

Sorry for the confusion kwikbreaks. Essentially, we have wireless at home so I just wandered if we could still access the internet on this using the N130? And of course, wireless hotspots too.
I'm mainly just abit confused about what bluetooh is used for and how important it actually is?Comping since oct 09' === October wins : Vodkat Cocktail Kit, £50 bonkers!, Peroni Bottle Opener x 2, Brit Chicks Merchandise

The N130 has WiFi so you'll be ok there.
Bluetooth is a short range wireless connection for things like mice, hands free headsets, general link between mobile phone and PC for transferring files or the thing I thought you may mean tethering a mobile phone to the PC so that you can use the phone as a modem to access the web.
A USB bluetooth adaptor can be had for a couple of quid delivered should you find a use later.0 -
Aaah, so it's definately not the end of the world then that it doesn't have bluetooth. Thanks for your help people
Going to go ahead with the purchase now - at just over £180, I'm quite happy.

if you intend getting this for this price, I'd move pretty sharpish, I've just got it for that price as well, the £20:00 cashback from Toshiba runs out on the 4.Dec
you need to purchase it before then0
