credit card ppi

Hi

I have a CC account with MBNA and between 2001 and 2005 I had PPI. I contacted MBNA last year to try and claim this money back and they said that the FOS were unable to deal with the case because it fell outside of the time limits for referral.
They have now admitted that this was an oversight on their part and have offered the following award:

£1358.64 - PPC refund
£112.14 - Associated interest
£150.00 - Goodwill gesture

I have asked for, and received, a breakdown of the calculations for this award but don't know just how this works.

Maybe it's just me but the interest looks to be very low. Can anyone help please??

Thanks

    Hello and welll done there.

Bumping up for you the same time, so someone with knowledge of calculating will post up, as this is my sore point, meanwhile check on how the FOS calculated refunds on this thread here:

    Hi there
    Not a problem.

What I mean is in regards to your question about the interest, I was hoping others could give you their opinions on this for you.
So bumping the post up not to lose it, so its not missed, as so many post up daily and it could let lost down the bottom somewhere.;)
