If this is the same model # as the one I got from argos ( with video+)
there is a problem with it ...... the timer is fast! ( I had 3 diferent players and all were the same). There were lots of owners reporting the same!
But if you can get over that then its a steal!!!MSE:-)MoneySpendingExpert (-:0 -

I think its this one:

For £35, would anyone expect it to have DivX???0 -
For £35, I'd expect it to have DivX Y AND Z together with Bluray, a satellite tuner and the abililty to work out what I want to record when I forget to set it !!
Some people will put up with anything these days! :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
Are you sure it's not the Set top boxes with Freeview that you are thinking about. Because they don't seem to have any cheaper DVD recorders then £79.99.Please Thank Me

I'm 1000% certain that this was a Goodmans DVD+ Recorder!!!
I consider myself quite tech minded and I was looking at this a long long time ago when it was £100 so i'm certain it is a dvd recorder.
At that price though, its very possible they have sold out!

I got one of these a few months ago on R&R. I'm no expert but for basic recording it has been fine.0

The price is £39.99, not £35, still a bargain though!. Model Number is Goodmans GDVD301RP DVD recorder.
Specifications on Tesco Website with image where it is still selling for £99.99, or Amazon (no Picture) where it is £95.94.
This is a reduced to clear offer, so is only available in stores that have sold it as part of the range but are now discontinuing it. It has been selling Reduced to clear for a while (at higher prices), so stocks are extremely limited as this price will just be to ged rid of whats left in probably a very small number of stores.0
