Good Morning oh knowledgable ones
Well the World Cup has started and as much as I love football, a whole months of missing Big Bro was too much (Sad, I know).
So, I decided to run an ariel cable from the living room to the portable in the kitchen so that I can watch a decent pic. This morning I have done this and get 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 brilliantly. So I should be happy, but ...
...I wanted to try and tune sky into the portable as well as I thought it would be handy but it won't tune Sky in, I get a fuzzyish black and white pic.
I have used a splitter at the back of the main tele, and tried this in the back of the sky box and other places. Do I need something else to get Sky in the kitchen? (We have a Sky+ box)
I was trying to show off to hubby this morning thinking I knew it all and I have got a good pic on other sides, but now I would like Sky just for the sake of it, lol.
TIA ... and COME ON ENGLAND  :j  :j

The normal way of doing it (assuming you have RF1 from the sky box going into your main tv) is to simply run an arial cable from RF2 from Sky+ into the back of your portable TV.
The problem can be that the RF2 output can be disabled from one of the service menus - if you do a google you should find out where it is (alternatively just temporarily plug the main TV into RF2 rather than RF1 to make sure that it is currently on - though obviously need to make sure you are checking with Sky on the TV channel rather than over Scart)All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

Thanks, I think I need to change the way I have the wires in the back of Sky and the TV. Cheers0
