Hi
Please can someone help me with the following query. I recently ordered a mobile phone contract from the above company online, the phone and contract are fine, however I took as a free gift an Ipod Touch (they say free it still cost £99 more than if I just took the handset), I confirmed with the sales rep it was the new spec 3rd generation model, but when it arrived it was last year's 2nd generation model. I called the company and after 2 days of faffing about with customer services they finally advised that I can return the product and have it replaced with the correct item.
Today however I recieved the same Ipod back and after speaking to the company they are saying that the Ipod I sent to them is not the one they send out to customers as it has Marks & Spencer security tags on it and they only source from Apple directly. In effect they are calling me a liar and are treating me as someone who is trying to scam them.
I put in a complaint via email and the customer service manager has stated the same thing that they did not send this Ipod and so would not exchange it. I am absoulutly disgusted by this company, but I have no way of proving my case but if I was trying to scam them I would not have left Marks & Spencer stickers on the Ipod case for a start. Please can someone advise on what I can do to get this resolved.
Many Thanks
Riz
