Car Radio Unlocking
Hope you can help me. Usual story, went for M.O.T. at garage and they disconnected the battery for some unknown reason. My radio is now in SAFE mode and I was not given the code when I purchased the car, so now I am stuck. The car is a Vauxhall Vectra 51 plate and the radio is a Grundig VDO CDR 500 and the number stamped on the side of the case is GM050011172652. Details on the paper sticker are:-
VDO326559176
No 24 469 302
2F4
Any help greatly received..Thanks

Sadly these sets cant be done by serial. Best bet is to go back to the garage that did the MOT and ask why they disconnected the battery (should be no reason at all). If they did not have good reason to do so ask them to pay to have the radio decoded.0
