Hi seem to be on these baords quite a bit lately as we are in the middle of an extension and trying to get the house so so for christmas (isn't everyone) a couple of things i need to sort at the weekend, just need a bit of advice
a)
firstly i've cut a channel about 10mm wide and 600mm long in a dot and dab plasterboard wall to hide the wires for our tv thats now hanging on the wall. I want to be able to fill the gap in but leave the wires behind it free to move if you know what i mean. If i just use plaster it will stick the wires behind it and probably crack over time, is there a better way?
b) we have had a internal wall taken down, now its all out the way its left a channel about 10mm deep and about 10ft long and 20cm wide . We are going to have the floor tiled at some stage but i just need to level this out for now so the tiler has somewhere to start, can this be done with concrete, concerned beause its not too deep and might break up under foot or come up when the tiler puts the underfloor heating down.
c)a quick question about underfloor heating, we are having warmup heating installed, ad were having the wire version rather than the mat, does anyone know of any benefits of either system. after looking at the installation so far we only have one thermostat and the warmup site states that any sized rom of 22m2 or more will need two but the fitters have said that one is enough for aload of 16amps using the wire system..
thanks for looking

a) I'd put some plastic trunking in the chased strip, run the wires through (or place them in and clip on the front - depends on what you get) and then plaster, paint.
PS - I'm fairly sure you can post a link to your blog on the forums, (in a relevant thread, i.e here) just not in your sig.
