My husband turns 40 on boxing day and I wanted to take us all for a nice meal. We've 5 children from 2-16 years but we are very civilised, honest!
I could just do Frankie and Bennys or somewhere but I'd prefer somewhere with a good bit of home cooking. I've enquired at a couple of places but your recommendations would be most welcome please

Frankie & Benny's had a big board outside tonight stating that 'Kids Eat Free' on boxing day
Might be worth enquiring. I've just posted a thread about their 'Winter Menu' which is great value. Can't go wrong with F&B's

We're a bit F&B'd out- we quite often go as an early teatime treat, getting in just in time for the end of the "lunch" menu of course.
I just fancied something a bit more home cooked. Can anyone tell me more about the Bird in Hand in Didsbury? A work colleague mentioned it but cant find anything on the tinterweb.0
