Double glazing problems

Options
Hi,

I had my my double galzing fitted over 15 years ago, its wooden frames, with seperate UPVS units screwed/glued or something onto them (not exactly sure).

Anyway I have ntoiced that I hear a lot more noise through the windows than I used to, and I can see that some UPV units seem to have moved away from the wooden framesm which may explain the noise and drafts.

So my question is, can I simply get a double glazing man to come in and re-fit the old units back again, as they look like they need maintenance?
If so, any recommendations near Dartford?

Thanks

ive just used roofline designs in margate for some work, someone on here recommended them to me, they were good, but i had 3 doors and a poly roof done, so no windows but you could ask them round for a quote and see what they say
  • I would guess that it's just the sealant that has 'shrunk back' leaving a small gap so you may be able to just dig out the silicone and reseal them.
