NPOWER replacement meter

Hi all!

I received a letter today from lowri beck services ltd who is working on behalf of npower. it said on the letter that our electricity meter is due for replacement. however, the replacement will be a token prepayment meters:eek:we are not very keen with this  is this normal?? nothing is mention in the letter that it is an option so i guess its compulsory then?

any hindsight?
i wish i have live my life a little bit off the book, took a chance and gamble

I assumed they replaced like for like and I assume you don't have a token pre-pay right now? Give them a call, I suppose its all you can do.

I had to get a new meter fitted a while a go, it actually took them months to track me down because I work during the day and they were very inflexible with appointment times.

Give them a ring ASAP unless you've run up a debt and they want to put you a prepayment meter to gather back that money.
  • NO, we dont have prepayment meter at the moment. I know some people prefer this but not me. I lived with 2 other person and they are not very keen in taking care of bills and cleaning ( sorry if i sound like im moaning :o) plus we all work on shifts so its not a good idea for us.
