I've been a big fan of play for many years and shopped their without too much of a problem (long waiting times for goods being the biggest issue). I appreciate that to get the cheap prices I have to wait sometimes and I'm prepared for that with play but I'm not prepared to suffer with poor customer service or in my case none at all.
I ordered a t-shirt over 3 weeks ago as a birthday present. A week later a t-shirt turned up but it was completely the wrong design.
I contacted play via their online contact form stating I wish to return an item as they had sent the wrong one. I was informed that I'd be contacted within 24 hours. Three days passed and nothing so I contacted them again. Nothing. Another few days and nothing.
I don't know what to do. I'm stuck with an item I did not order and I cannot return the item to play without their returns number which they have yet to email. I've now missed my friend's birthday.
What a pain. Anyone know a number I can phone and talk to an actual person? I'm fed up with the automated online send us a question to which I get no response.

Well there is the incredibly easy to find phone number which is listed at the bottom of every page on the site. Which is 0845 800 1020.

Thanks. I never noticed that. I thought I'd scanned to the bottom and looked for a phone number.
It was never in the contact info when I last checked though I notice it is there now with new Christmas info.0 -

I did go through the correct returns process numerous times and no email sent and it was not junked either. I'm guessing that when it's the wrong item some email monkey needs to reply rather than an automated system.0
