My tarriff isn't on the comparison sites. Help please.
Hello,
Scottish Power have moved me over to their "Monthly Cash payment plan" and I have to pay £65 a month for this.
I'm eager to see if I can move to someone cheaper, however the comparison sites don't list this tariff and I don't want to give the wrong details.
Can someone point me in the right direction please?
Cheers,
Alex.

Are you sure this is the name of the plan? SP's website lists in their A-Z:
Monthly Cash Plan
Monthly Payment method.
I think you may have confused the payment method with the name of the plan.0 -
At the top of the letter it states "Package: Monthly Cash DF" & the letter says "Following a review of your account and payment pattern we have transferred your account onto our Monthly Cash payment plan. This means that you will now be required to pay for your Electricity & Gas in monthly cash instalments."0

I don't think it matters a great deal what you put in as your current tariff, just see what they show as the cheapest for your usage, then see if it's cheaper.0

Still doesn't sound like the name of the tariff you're on - like monthly direct debit, variable direct debit, you are on a plan where you pay each month in cash. Ignore the word 'package', that's the name of the payment plan from what I understand. A quick call to SP would clear this up, I think the name of your tariff will be something different.
As Biggles says though, the comparison sites are mainly interested in how much power you consume to identify who is cheapest for your usage, so if you just want to see who is cheapest do as Biggles suggests (only thing is you won't be able to tell how cheaper they are compared to your current tariff if you don't know what tariff you're on now).0 -
Just had a play about and think I put the right things in.
Just requested a change to NPower which will save me £98.97 a year which is great.0 -

Do not be surprised if your Direct debits remain the same, or if they are lower then you may run up a debit balance. This is because your £98 saving could be made up by the £100 cashback for DD and duel fuel which is credited to your accounts after 12 months and paid on the next bill.
The comparison sites take this into account when working out the costs but npower do not when working out the DD amount.0
