Just a quick question, if a preference share has a nominal value of £1 and is 8%, would you get two divends per year of 8p each (such as interim and final) or just one of 8p at the end of the year? Thanks

Depending on the terms of the share, you might get two lots of 4p.
Though thinking of the ones I've known, normally 8p once a year.0
