Hey hey
Just formatted the lappy using the official dell cd. Using the dell support site i downloaded most the applications and drivers for the Inspiron 6000.
Downloaded Quickset which shows me the power if i press Fc and F3 together but before there was an icon which would actually let me know how much powe rthere is but thats now disappeared and i cant find the software that will allow me to enable it again so i can easily see
Any advice would be much apprecaited...
thanks
Josh

There is a check box in control panel> power options to show battery power (if it is charging or how much you have left etc)This is not an automated signature. I write this at the bottom of every message0
