Online grocery shopping

Options
I have just started shopping using mysupermarket.com.

I had my first delivery last week from Tesco, thought they were excellent, arrived in green boxes which IMO is better than carrier bags, only down side the driver was an hour early, in fairness the driver did phone and ask if he could deliver, there was even freebies in the shopping, some sort of oriental food kits, had two of them.
I wasnt too keen on the final bill, I knew I spent about £80 but the online receipt was for £97, they do the discounts when packing instore, made me nervous.
I had monster munch crisps, 40g bags, they were supposed to be 13p each but turned out to be 54p each, I bought 12 packs. My supermarket was showing 13p but when i checked the tesco website they were 54p on there after the delivery turned up.

I spent 3 hours on my first attempt with ASDA, when i went for delivery, the next schedule was 3 days way, bit bizarre, who would want to wait 3 days for their shopping?

This week is Sainsburys (because they have ben and jerrys ice cream for half price), looking forward to it.

I always buy the offers and throw loads of basics stuff in to make it cheaper.

My conclusion is so far that whichever one you shop in will be always cheaper than the other 3.
Unless of course you dont shop for offers.

Do Sainsburys do the green boxes?

Regarding the three day wait, it just needs a bit of forward planning.

You can book your slot, do most of your shopping and go back to add or take things off up until the day before delivery.

Depends on your catchment area too. I can easily order on line this evening for delivery the next day.
It also gets easier as your last list is remembered, so you can quickly add your normal basics and keep easily keep tabs on the prices of your favourites.
You'll end up doing a full shop in 10-15 mins.

If you are not happy with any of the items, you can not accept them and they will be taken off the bill. I know - tricky to do when it's landing on your doorstep.
Also bear in mind the offers are only valid if still on, on the day of delivery. Ie you may find they expired the day of the order - but the site will inform you of any offers which will cease to be on checkout so you can amend accordingly.

Not sure about the other 2 but Asda you can book your slot 3 weeks in advance, will be booking my xmas ones soon, and alter your order upto 10pm the night before your delivery.
