Firefox problem

Whenever I'm on a website and open an attachment (usually via Adobe Reader 6.0, PDF File) everything seems to lock up; I have to close down Firefox (I get a message saying "not responding") and re-open the browser. However, I've discovered that when I use IE I don't get the problem. Any ideas please? (Apart from using IE everytime I want to open an attachment (e.g. user manuals for equipment etc.). Thanks.

Polybear.

Is it every attachment or just with PDF's? I used to have that problem with PDF's so I installed PDF Download and it stopped.

Brilliant - PDF Download seems (at first glance) to have sorted the problem. Many thanks - much appreciated.

I had the same problem as you until I upgraded to the latest version of Adobe reader.

I have the same issue with Firefox. I tend to find it also affects IE users too.

    PDF downloader is great, Thanks
