£4000. For a 58 reg Civic Type-R GT, in immaculate condition, and 16000 miles on the clock. Immaculate.
The reason for sale is a move to Spain. All finances would be dealt with Yahoo finances.
My worry is that all this sounds too good to be true... I've been supplied with a registration number and a VN number, but I'm still very sceptical.
Any advice??

Yes its quite clearly a scam. Yahoo dont offer any such service.
Do you really think a car which is valued at near 3 times that amount would genuinely be sold at 4k. A dealer would offer far more than 4k.0 -
have you seen the car and can you test drive it ?
it does stink of scam.0 -
run away
but not a bad first post0 -
have now been in touch with Yahoo, who apparently were providing financial protection, and they'd heard of this scam, be aware of it! cars are being offered a lot cheaper than list price and 'third party protection' is being offered - yahoo do not have such a set up, it is a scam. and i got a little excited about that deal

pass the registration and vin number to the police if someone is stupid enough to use their own car as the "attraction" let the police track him down! if its duff the cops will tell you right away.0
