Can anyone who has a DAB radio explain to me what the difference is between DAB and FM?

I know there will be sites out there that explain it, but I want to know the good (and bad?) sides to DAB over FM radio!

Are there extra channels over FM and what are they?

Is the reception really completely "hiss" free?

Can you always get all channels or is it still dependant on reception?

Other benefits?

Think they are long gone mate, checked the huge Co-op department store near me last week and nothing!!!

Gutted cos even £30+ for a DAB with CD would have been good, but £10, amazin deal...

Gutted to miss it!
