Today i have called : Castleford, Meanwood, kippax and Huddersfield.

Castleford phone no was out of use. Should anybody come accross them in surrounding towns i would be v interested, need cd radio to listen to in bath.
Thought it's best to post where we try to save others the bother.

You will find that the Castleford branch closed a few months ago :)

Which brings a point of interest that they reduced these to around £30 and I was quite tempted then but never got round to buying one.

    as per .....

Found one of these quite by chance only today (Sunday June 11th) in the Co-op nearest to where I live (I did ask and check at the time of the original posting)

Great news is that it was ONLY £9.99

Right, just having a search for a store stocking these, when I enter the place name, should I then select "Non-food outlets"?!?

The store at locks heath was a food store with some electrical bits in the middle. Their online checker is rubbish as you want a large store but how do you filter out all of their corner shops? Mind you the postcode checker didn't work for me anyway.

    Cheers

Checked local CO-OP and MOS portable DAB was marked as £39.99 - did yours scan differently or did your CO-OP mark price differently?

    Cheers

I actually saw the shelf edge label (from a distance) with MOS and £9.99 displayed but couldn't see exactly what it was.
The package was sideways on and looked like a set of headphones.
    So I asked.
It was the last one on the shelf and scanned at £9.99 as per SEL
