Shower mixer very sensitive

When you only slightly touch the shower mixer it changes temperature, has the plumber made an error when putting it in. Have a combi boiler. I like the flow full on as well. Perhaps the hot and cold flow rates are high and the mixer isn't suitable.

First thing to check is the shower valve make and model . Have a look a see if its suitable for a combi, if not sure post model number here .
Check ( if possible) hot and cold are to correct sides of shower mixer valve. On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.0 -
OMG my shower is like that too! I have a Worcester 28i Junior combi boiler and an old-ish Aqualisa power shower, don't know what model though, it doesn't say...0

as bestyman says, it might not be the right shower for the type of system if the shower is older!
also, if the shower is an older model, it would be quite likely that the shower installed will be only suitable for a low pressure system i.e. traditional tanks in the loft.
the more modern showers we install now usally have two settings for low or high pressure so it is worth checking when you have a new combi put in if your exsisting shower is up to the job!!

Our old shower was like that - adjust the temperature by a couple of mm and the water temperature would change by a huge amount.
We decided to change ours to a thermostatic model and this fixed it.
Thanks

It's either a non thermostatic model, or I suspect more that you have the wrong model fitted for a combi.
The most important part of a shower valve suitable for a combi boiler is that it can cope with an enourmous pressure imbalance between mains cold and combi fed hot (in Aqualisa's case this is up to 33-1 in imbalanced pressure).
If you have the wrong shower and alternative is to put a pressure reducing valve on the mains cold in to the shower, or even plumb in a pressure equalisation valve into the hot and cold, or just replace the shower unit with a thermostatic unit that can cope.0
