problems

with the range store , i was bought a shiatsu massage cushion for christmas last year , until march it worked great , then started stopping and shuddering half way through the massage , so id turn it off and start again , this became more and more frequent , my husband couldnt find the reciept so i put it away in a box and forgot about it ,, we went in the loft a few days ago and the reciept was in an envelope with other things we didnt want to lose , anyway i have been in touch with the store via email they have a help website and basically the have said they wont honour the receipt even though its still under 12 months and its faulty , my husband paid 100 pounds for this , any advice please

    Go back to the store, stand your ground. Dont let them fob you off with 'go to the manufacturer' your contract of sale is with the retailer. They really dont have a leg to stand on but they are obliged at the moment to only offer a repair.
