Is there anywhere other than ebay for selling online?

You might want to look at price minister....not sure how it works as I've only purchased from there but there are new and used items for sale.

Ebid is much more user friendly than robbing Ebay in a lot of ways.
Recently due to Ebays preference for big sellers, a lot of little sellers like yourself have been sidelined by Ebay and the even more recent change in the unfair Feedback system and the high fees, along with the sometimes almost criminal chargebacks given by Paypal to unscrupulous buyers, has prompted many regular sellers to completely stop selling on Ebay!!
I have bought on Ebid, and relatively high price items at that (jewellery)...admittedly at first I was a little wary...but I have only had positive experiences.
If more people were willing to sell on Ebid, then more of us potential buyers would be willing to buy.

Having just started to sell again on ebay I have just been duped by an unscrupulous buyer myself, cannot believe that paypal/ebay have sided with her and given them a refund.
Totall agree with the above, I have a mountain of books so I used to sell them, make a tiny a profit, but with P&P gone I cant even do that now.
Glad to see there are alternatives to Fleecebay0 -

There are plenty of guides and forums full of people willing to help you set up stores and get your items onto to Google shopping for no extra charge (this has recently made a massive difference in the number of sales). I have over 700 items on there and in the build up to christmas i'm making 2 sales a day. The past month i made £400 and my fees were just over £8. In contrast i made the same amount of sales on ebay and my fees were £126.
I don't fancy any website that still has to be described as only having 'potentiall' after being active for what 9 years?
EDIT: Just checked it was founded in 1998 so hardly impressive.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Personally I would say that with the sorts of bulk and quantity you're talking about a car boot sale would be better.
Fair enough you have to pay for your pitch, but you can get rid of tons of stuff, it doesn't take anywhere near the preparation time of taking photos, listing, etc that selling online does. There's no postage considerations. You can take offers on items towards the end of the day.0 -
Not sure if you will ever sell anything worth while on Ebid I tried 3 or 4 years ago and sided with ebay in the end....0

I moved from ebay to ebid in September, I have only made a few sales but it's still better than having to pay all the ebay fees. There are people on ebid that seem to have some success with regular sales, I think it just takes time. There are lots of helpful people on the forums who help out new sellers with suggestions on how they can improve their sales, a lot of sellers are moving there now due to the cost of listing on ebay.0

Unfortunately the sellers might be going but the buyers are not. I'd also prefer to pay some fees and sell something rather than pay lowe fees just to see things sitting there year after year.
As for giving it a chance, I think my 5 1/2 years of 'giving it a chance' is enough! I still have things listed there today, and not a sniff of a sale.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
