Is there anywhere other than ebay for selling online?

I have some items to sell in the hope of making a bit of extra cash, is there anywhere other than ebay that I can sell the following items (online):

Brand new digital photoframe
New leather Dorothy Perkins Boots
Various items of ladies clothing and 3 ladies coats
Kenwood smoothie maker
Books (including autobiographies and weightwatchers books)
And a few other random items such as a foot spa, poker set and anything else that I find under the bed!

I am keen to try and sell these without paying any fees – any ideas will be much appreciated, Thank you

I was going to suggest Amazon for the books, but theor fees are higher than ebay so that is no good.

There are free auction sites like ebid, but there are no buyers so although you won't pay listing fees you won;t sell anyway. If you do sell then there are minimal final value fees.

I cannot think of anywhere at all online with buyers but no fees.

Ebid is much more user friendly than robbing Ebay in a lot of ways.

Recently due to Ebays preference for big sellers, a lot of little sellers like yourself have been sidelined by Ebay and the even more recent change in the unfair Feedback system and the high fees, along with the sometimes almost criminal chargebacks given by Paypal to unscrupulous buyers, has prompted many regular sellers to completely stop selling on Ebay!!

I have bought on Ebid, and relatively high price items at that (jewellery)...admittedly at first I was a little wary...but I have only had positive experiences.

If more people were willing to sell on Ebid, then more of us potential buyers would be willing to buy.

  • I have used freeads.net from time to time, with success, no fees, no commission, items might take a while to sell, but at least you get all the money.

    Hope this helps.

I have been listing on ebid for 5 1/2 years and have made 1 sale..so in terms of time and effort it is a lot more expensive than ebay.

  • If you know how to use ebid correctly it has great potential. There are plenty of guides and forums full of people willing to help you set up stores and get your items onto to Google shopping for no extra charge (this has recently made a massive difference in the number of sales). I have over 700 items on there and in the build up to christmas i'm making 2 sales a day. The past month i made £400 and my fees were just over £8. In contrast i made the same amount of sales on ebay and my fees were £126.
